Telegram founder Pavel Durov said the company has “exceed” its legal obligations in moderation, cooperation and combat crime at all times.
On March 17, the founder of Telegram posted an update to his messaging application, saying that after spending several months in France, he had already returned to Dubai. Durov said the process is still ongoing, but added, “It feels great to be at home.”
Reports follow that the founder of Telegram was allowed to leave France and return home. On March 15, the report cited an anonymous source said executives departed from France after receiving approval from a French court to leave the country.
Durov was arrested in Paris on August 24th as part of an investigation into an instant messaging app. Executives were accused of running a platform that allowed illegal activities.
