Payments giant Stripe has announced global support for USDC payments over the Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Polygon (POL) blockchains.

Until 2018, Stripe supported payments using the king of crypto assets, Bitcoin (BTC), but in April of the same year, Stripe announced that it would no longer support payments using the crypto asset, which has the highest market capitalization, due to its lack of usefulness as a payment method. has been discontinued.
According to Stripe's official website, the Pay with Crypto feature allows merchants to accept digital assets to settle fiat balances without the hassle of converting or holding crypto assets.
“Pay with Crypto allows you to accept payments in stablecoins that are settled as fiat in your Stripe balance. You don't have to go through the complexities of holding or converting crypto to fiat yourself. You can accept USDC payments in Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon without having to pay 1.5% of the transaction amount.
In April, Stripe co-founder and president John Collison announced that Stripe would begin accepting USDC-based payments during the summer.
