Former MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor upped his metaphor game by portraying Bitcoin as an orange soda can with the help of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
“I only drink Bitcoin,” Saylor quipped on his social media profile.
“Do you think water is second best?” one user joked in response to Saylor's latest social media post. This is an obvious reference to Saylor's “no second best” belief, which has now become a popular meme within the Bitcoin community.
Saylor is known for his maximalist approach to crypto investing. The MicroStrategy co-founder has so far resisted altcoins and focused solely on Bitcoin.
This cooking metaphor drew mixed reactions from Bitcoiners. “Which do you like, 1 or 0?” asked one of his followers. “Now I have liquidity!” another user joked.
as U.Today reportedIn a recent interview with CNBC, Saylor compared the ability to trade Bitcoin at any time to air or water. This comparison was intended to highlight the inefficiencies of traditional finance.
Bitcoin is “empty”
Saylor's latest social media post has even drawn a scathing response from goldbug Peter Schiff.
This abominable financial commentator claimed that Bitcoin is actually as empty as Saylor's AI-generated can.
This statement alludes to Schiff's oft-repeated belief that Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.
He often argues that gold, a tangible asset with industrial uses, is a better investment option than its emerging competitors.
Mr. Schiff recently challenged Mr. Saylor to a debate.
