Reddit Data Dao launches on Vana, a decentralized network for user-owned datasets
April 4: The team behind VanaIt says it is a decentralized network for user-owned datasets and models. Reddit Data DAO started on the network. According to the team, “This is a community-owned data vault where users can join their Reddit accounts and receive governance privileges based on the amount of data they contribute. Users can then share their data with others. You can vote to sell it to an AI company, or vote to remove it.'' That's possible if Reddit agrees to pay directly. DAO demonstrates the power of user-owned data, the potential of user-owned foundational models, and the kinds of applications that Vana is enabling. ”
April 4th: dry life, a Web3 decentralized ride-hailing platform that uses blockchain technology to create a peer-to-peer network for drivers and passengers, is moving to the Sui blockchain. According to the team, “This is the first decentralized mobility infrastructure platform integrated with Sui. The Drife platform offers a zero-fee pricing structure that helps drivers earn more and save their profits. “Sui” is the blockchain platform of choice for Drife as it has low network fees, reduces transaction costs and improves overall affordability for users. ” According to the project documentation, it is built on Polygon.
