Crypto Twitter was in an uproar after Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner appeared to launch the Pump.fun token. Decryption Let’s go down the rabbit hole to find out who claims to have deployed JENNER tokens on Pump.fun.
“We love crypto!” Jenner posted on Twitter, followed by a link to Pump.fun and a photo with Donald Trump. Jenner's token was soon listed on decentralized exchange Radium (which was a key goal of the Pump.fun token) and is currently up 24,838% since issuance.
“I am connected to almost every celebrity,” Sahil Arora said. Decryptionclaimed to have deployed the JENNER token.
However, questions have been raised on social media as to whether his money is helping or hurting the project he claims to be involved in. Anonymous crypto Twitter sleuths claim to have discovered a wallet containing funds from an alleged pump-and-dump operation that saw Jenner sell off $16,000 worth of shares shortly after it was released.
The attack bears strong similarities to previous celebrity hacks that have compromised the accounts of many high-profile figures, including former US President Barack Obama, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and Twitter owner Elon Musk. Typically, hackers use the accounts to share suspicious links to meme coins or wallet addresses, asking followers to hand over money.
So, Crypto Twitter was understandably wary of the JENNER token.
Caitlyn Jenner's Twitter account has waged a campaign to prove that it wasn't hacked as many believed. First, her manager Sophia Hutchins posted a video to Twitter of the former decathlete talking about going out to play golf. This came after Jenner posted a video that many believed to be a deepfake. However, a second video was released that seemed to silence most doubters.
The token's debut came on the same day that popular cryptocurrency trader GCR was hacked, with attackers promoting and then selling two projects, and American rapper Rich the Kid posted a link to Pump.fun on Twitter before deleting the social media post.
Twitter users quickly pointed out the connection between Rich the Kid's tokens and Caitlyn Jenner's tokens, and it turned out that one wallet had been buying and selling large amounts of each, with one Twitter user believing the wallet made a profit of 98 SOL ($16,000) by selling Jenner's tokens.
Rich The Kid then took to Twitter to slam Sahil Arora.
“This guy is the mastermind behind this scam,” the New York rapper said in a now-deleted Twitter post. This is the same perpetrator who appeared in an Instagram Story Jenner posted beneath the original Pump.fun Twitter post in an attempt to convince her followers that the launch wasn't a hack. The Instagram Story read, “$7M in sales in 1 hour. It takes teamwork.”

Arora said. Decryption He has been in contact with several celebrities through direct messages on Instagram. “Sometimes I go to them, but most of the time they come to me and I choose them,” Arora said. “That's the only way to make crypto more mainstream and benefit from the attention economy. It's the meta they didn't know they needed.”
He claims to have worked on projects for other celebrities, including actress Lindsay Lohan, and artists such as Soulja Boy, Tyga, Ne-Yo and Liam Payne, but did not provide any concrete evidence. When asked why he would do such a thing, he cited influence, money and prestige as his motivations.
Arora also said he helped launch Rich the Kid's token, RICH, but later severed ties with the project. “I broke up with him and we had a fight,” he said. DecryptionRich the Kid did not immediately respond. DecryptionRequest for comments.
Twitter user Roxo believes Arora is the common denominator in five other supposed celebrity-related rug pulls in the past week, all of which are linked to the same wallet that made $16,000 on Jenner, and which also allegedly led to Caitlyn Jenner's official Twitter account posting a request for memecoin donations.
In a newly created Telegram group, Arora shared her plans to launch the token with porn stars, artists and actors. The group also promoted the token with former Miss Croatia Ivana Knorr, but social media posts promoting the token have been removed. The project is one of several alleged pump-and-dump schemes. In response to Loxo’s claim that the Solana wallet was his, Arora simply called it “absurd nonsense.”
Jenner's Twitter account has been more active than usual, promoting the project multiple times per hour. Arora claims he and Jenner's camp are working together to engage with the crypto community. The account retweeted Pump.fun, responded to Autism Capital, and reposted Rich the Kid's criticism of the token.
“The next one will be so big it will dwarf Jenner,” Arora wrote on Telegram. “Stay tuned for the announcement.”
