According to Lookonchain, Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin's address once again sold a large number of meme coins, receiving 257.1 ETH worth $636,000. Meme coins for sale include MSTR, POPCAT, ITO, ETH6900, SATO, and Milo.
Addresses associated with Vitalik Buterin include 330,000 MSTR for 114.1 ETH or $282,000, 14 million POPCAT for 74.99 ETH or $186,000, 14 billion ITO for 36.55 ETH (worth $90,000), and 1.05 million ETH6900 for 15.37 ETH (worth $38,000). It has reportedly been sold. 50.53 billion SATO (equivalent to 11.34 ETH) 28,000 dollars, 10 billion milo is 4.77 ETH and equivalent to $12,000.
Wu Blockchain reports this development, speculating that Buterin may donate the funds later, as per past practice. Similarly, it was reported that the Ethereum creator recently sold eight meme tokens including MSTR, Milo, POPCAT, TCATI, VITALIK, MOODENG, FWOG, and EBULL for 651.4 ETH worth $1.61 million.
Last week, Vitalik Buterin sold billions of Ethereum-based tokens for charity, drawing attention to a meme coin modeled after Thailand's viral baby pygmy hippopotamus Moo Deng.
Ethereum co-founder involuntarily received 62 billion MOODENG from token distributors, then exchanged a significant amount of Ethereum-based meme coins to fund “airborne disease technology”.
Ethereum founder reluctantly donates crypto assets
Mr. Buterin's digital wallet has been receiving large unsolicited inflows of digital assets for years, perhaps as a token of appreciation from developers or as a form of pseudo-marketing.
In 2021, Buterin was reluctantly given half of his total Shiba Inu supply, of which he burned 410 trillion tokens, or 90% of the donation, and used the remaining 10% for charitable purposes.
The creators of Ethereum do not like token developers to unilaterally send cryptocurrencies. Although he was happy to donate funds to good causes, he once said, “I would appreciate it if the coin holdings were allocated directly to charity.''
