Elon Musk reveals that X is facing a large, highly tuned cyber attack that is bigger and more refined than daily attacks face, Includes potentially nation-states or well-funded hacking groups.

The Musk's statement came after thousands of X users reported this morning that they had experienced widespread suspensions, failed logins and unusual platform disruptions. The first report appeared around 5:30am.
There were over 40,000 outage reports at the peak of the disruption, according to Downdetector, a site that tracks user complaints about online services. The problem continued throughout the morning, with additional outages reported at 9:30am and 11am ET.
X faces occasional suspensions, including confusion during a Trump livestream interview last August. The interview hosted by Musk was plagued by major technical difficulties before it began.
It was later identified that the platform was subjected to a massive DDOS attack, leading to widespread disruption and prevented many users from accessing live conversations.
