He informed the audience that he had established a new Tesla community in X: the Supercharger Community. It currently has fewer than 10 members, including Elon Musk. Still, new candidates must be approved before they can join the community, so there may already be a long line of applicants.
The entrepreneur did not reveal the purpose of establishing this community. It was probably created for Tesla users to have various discussions about electric cars. A community creation feature was recently added. XRP enthusiast @XRPcryptowolf responded to Musk's tweet by posting a link inviting users to his XRP-themed community called “XRPcrypto.” He tweeted: “Everyone is welcome to join my XRP crypto community.”
More X updates coming soon
Earlier today, Elon Musk published a tweet announcing a new update to the X app. Users will now be able to upload long-form videos such as “movies, TV series, and podcasts” specified by Musk. He added that this will be included in the content that can be monetized by users who choose to activate the subscription feature.
Dogecoin and a member of the X team known as DogeDesigner (@cb_doge) added details to this, specifying that anyone can now upload videos up to 4 hours long to X.
Another upcoming update, according to DogeDesigner, is that the domain will likely change from twitter.com to X.com soon, so Twitter's title could soon leave the social media platform permanently. It means that there is a gender. He added, “On iOS, links from his twitter.com in posts are now automatically converted to ๐.com.”
