Bitfury, a full-service blockchain technology company, today announced the launch of Exonum Enterprises.
A full-service blockchain division based on Bitfury's Exonum blockchain framework, offering Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) to make it easier for businesses and governments to design and launch private blockchain projects.
Already deployed in several use cases, Bitfury is using Exonum’s timestamp capabilities to verify and secure land ownership in the Republic of Georgia, securing over 2 million titles to date.
In Ukraine, Bitfury built the Exonum blockchain-based e-auction system for the national e-government agency in 2018 and has completed 50,000 auctions to date, increasing total turnover by 18 percent.
Bitfury, working with global engineering firm Aricent, used Exonum’s supply chain module to track developer progress and product development, improving product development velocity by 34% and increasing team productivity by 29%.
Bitfury also used the Exonum platform to build Synergy University's diploma verification system, verifying over 100,000 diplomas to date. Additionally, the Exonum framework is being used by medical data company Longenesis to manage patient consent and privacy at several hospitals in South Korea.
“Our team has been hard at work testing, expanding and improving the Exonum blockchain platform since its launch in 2017. Today, it is one of the most secure and efficient blockchain platforms available for enterprise-scale projects, and its effectiveness has been proven through several global projects.”
– Gleb Palienko, CEO of Exonam
Exonum Enterprises
Exonum Enterprise is introducing several new features for its clients, including a full-service dashboard to track blockchain deployments, Bitfury DevOps support, and the ability to launch blockchain projects in minutes.
Bitfury's software development kit (available in Java, JavaScript, and Python) allows for easy integration with enterprise business systems. The platform can process up to 5,000 transactions per second and uses Bitfury's proprietary consensus algorithm to protect operations even in the event of node failure or malicious behavior.
The Exonum blockchain platform was launched in July 2017 as an open-source project.
To date, the project has over 200 contributors, and the Exonum core code will continue to be available as open source (Rust and Java) on GitHub for independent developers.
“Blockchain is unparalleled in its ability to streamline operations, but its greatest benefit to our world is transparency and security. The Exonum Enterprise Platform will help further blockchain adoption and increase trust in our institutions, which in turn will help improve lives around the world.”
– Valery Vavilov, CEO of Bitfury
