Bitcoin's “Epic Satoshi”, a particularly rare version of the smallest unit of BTC, was sold in April for 33.3 BTC, or about $2.1 million at the time. Currently, this is being used to imprint the music and her AI-generated voice of Canadian electronic pop artist Grimes (aka Claire Boucher) on Ordinals assets.
An “Epic Satoshi” or “Epic Satoshi” is an extremely rare Satoshi, or 1/100 millionth of a BTC, generated every Bitcoin halving. This quadrennial event cuts the amount of Bitcoin earned by miners (who support the network) in half. And those magnificent moons are said to be especially valuable to collectors if they are engraved with ordinal numbers like NFTs.
bitcoin ordinal project blob book carved its artwork on the latest epic satellite through the inscription 70,634,325 carved on Sunday. The “Spike” collection, named after the magnificent Satoshi, Nurosays he is a doctor turned Bitcoin enthusiast and founder of Nuro Realm, Cypherpunk Labs, and Blob Army.

He added that “Spike #1” is engraved on a grand satellite and was created in collaboration with software developers and Ordinals enthusiasts. Erok Remark, bubbletonand steak toshi.
“We are experimental artists working at the intersection of art, science, and technology, so it was our dream to present our work on a grand stage and inspire our community to experiment and create new art. '' Nuro said. Decryption. “We believe everyone is an artist. All you need is to find your own outlet.”
According to Nuro, “Spike #1” is Bitcoin Ordinals' first “neurogenerated” 3D audiovisual work, and the inscription is inscribed with his brain data that manipulates the art.
“Neurogenerative” is an abbreviation for generative AI and neurographic art. Neurographic art refers to art designed to engage the subconscious mind. Projects like Neurotech startup Prophetic use generative AI to tap into your subconscious mind and lucid dreams while you sleep.
Nuro said the idea to use Grimes' Elf Tech AI technology came after a spoken word project didn't have the desired effect, and Eloc asked him to check out Grimes' AI voice. He said he proposed it.
“This is original art and music that we have created that takes advantage of Grimes' free and open expression.” [Elf Tech] We used AI voice for some of the vocals,” Nuro said.
In April 2023, Grimes announced the launch of Elf Tech, which would offer 50% royalties to anyone who uses her voice on AI-generated music using her voice. “Feel free to use my voice without penalty,” Grimes wrote on Twitter. In other words, while Grimes is not personally involved in the project, her skills are available to any creator.
“I looked it up and she turned out to be a super bad cypherpunk who said, 'Fuck copyrights, use my voice with impunity,'” Neuro said, paraphrasing Grimes' own words. “So I tried it out and I liked the spirit and the sound of it giving it a more cosmic, digital feel. So since then I've been playing it along with my voice and Steak Toshi's voice. I'm using.”
Nuro found the Elf Tech program easy to use, fun and unpredictable, but said it was not without its issues, including downtime and upload issues. Nuro is not Bitcoin's first foray into the art world. In February, Cypherpunk Labs and Nuro Realm teamed up with his Deezy Labs and Superchief Gallery to launch a San Francisco gallery dedicated to Bitcoin Ordinals art.
In April, the latest of the four “grand satellites” was mined by Bitcoin mining pool ViaBTC and put up for auction on cryptocurrency exchange CoinEX. Given the importance Ordinals collectors place on rare assets derived from Satoshi, it was expected to sell for a considerable sum. And in fact, he ended up with 33.3 BTC, which at the time of the sale was worth $2.1 million.
