North Korean Lazarus Group has washed another $138 million worth of 62,200 ether from the Bibit Hack on February 21, March 1st.
X user Embercn said that around 343,000 ether (ETH) of 499,000 ether stolen from the $1.4 billion Bibit Hack is expected to clear the remaining funds in the remaining three days.
The 343,000 ether transfer corresponds to 68.7% of the stolen funds, up from 54% on February 28th.
Embercn previously noted that its laundry activities have slowed in its efforts from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, which calls for node operators, crypto exchanges, bridges and more to block transactions linked to bi-bit hackers.

The FBI has shared 51 Ethereum addresses operated or linked by bi-bit hackers, while blockchain analytics firm Elliptic has flagged more than 11,000 Crypto wallet addresses linked to them.
Crypto Forensics Firm Chainalysis said hackers converted some of the stolen ether into Bitcoin (BTC), DAI (DAI) Stablecoin and other assets, decentralized exchanges, cross-chain bridges and instant swap services without knowing customer protocols.
One of these protocols includes the Crosschain Asset Swap Protocol Thorchain. The developers behind the protocol have been heavily criticized for promoting a significant share of relocations made by North Korean hackers.
One of the developers of Thorchain, known as “Pluto,” said they would no longer contribute to the protocol after a vote to block linked transactions with North Korean hackers.

In a note to the Cointelegraph, Thorchain founder John-Paul Thorbjornsen said he was no longer involved with the Crosschain Protocol, noting that none of the authorized crypto wallet addresses listed by the FBI and the Ministry of Finance's Office of Foreign Assets Control have interacted with the protocol.
The $1.4 billion Bit Hack on February 21 was a much bigger exploit in the crypto industry. This is more than double the loss due to the $650 million Ronin Bridge Hack on March 23, 2022.
