Eurozone investor confidence strengthened for the sixth month in a row, hitting a 26-month high in April as expectations turned positive for the first time since the start of the Ukraine war.
The main investor sentiment index rose to -5.9 in April from -10.5 in March, data from behavioral research agency Centix showed on Monday. This was the highest score since February 2022.
The expectations index was also at its highest level since February 2022, but the economic recovery phase that began at the end of 2022 is relatively weak, Centix said.
