She alleges in her lawsuit that the cryptocurrency mogul subjected her to years of perverse sexual abuse.
According to court documents, Max Hartman allegedly punished his wife in shocking ways when she did not have sex as requested.
During one exchange, Hartman allegedly texted her to say she was not allowed to eat food he had bought for Chelsea's home, according to messages included in the lawsuit.
“If you want to receive my blessings, you must be kind to me,” he wrote. “Today, in good faith, I will allow you to eat one of my bananas, but please do not eat any ice cream.”
Hartman, 34, frequently made fun of her weight and clothing. And she said, “Regularly necessary [her] The former man, identified only as an SS agent in court documents, demanded that he bend down and take photos from behind so he could examine the work he had done, the man said in a Manhattan Supreme Court case. .
The two met as teenagers and dated briefly, but the woman claimed Hartman pressured the then-13-year-old into having sex with her and they broke up. They got back together when she graduated from college.
According to court documents, he allegedly forced her to have sex three times during their 10-year relationship, and once assaulted her, causing her to bleed.
The SS did not report the attack to the police.
“Little by little, he made me feel so small and worthless,” SS, now 32, told the Post. “It was awful. While it was happening, I had a gut feeling that something was wrong, but every time I tried to stand up for myself, he would twist my words and make sure I wasn't.” You've decided that you're the wrong person…It may sound stupid, but when you're criticized enough and told that you're wrong enough, you start to believe it.”
SS said in its lawsuit that Harman is a co-owner of CardCoins, an online service that allows users to exchange prepaid gift cards for Bitcoin, and BitDevs, a virtual currency social network with more than 5,000 members in New York City alone. He also claims to be a co-sponsor.
She claimed she used Cardcoin gift cards for “the majority of her living expenses,” including private airline tickets and her $10,000-a-month apartment rent.
Mr. Hartman has been stopped twice by police while traveling with large amounts of cash, including in November 2018 when $884,630 in cash was found in his luggage on Amtrak in Chicago. This includes the incident on the moon and the incident in March 2019 when he tried to board a private jet. Federal court documents show.
In the 2019 case, authorities said in court records that $409,805 that Hartman had packed in a large black duffel bag was “packaged in a manner consistent with drug proceeds.”
Each time, he was released without charge, and authorities eventually returned most of the cash to Hartman, according to court documents.
When SS finally broke up last year, Hartman demanded that they continue to use the apartment for video conferencing so no one would know they had broken up. She alleged in her lawsuit that he repeatedly sent her humiliating messages, sneaked back to her while she was gone, and secretly recorded her having sex with other women.
The complaint includes images of Hartman allegedly installing hidden cameras.
According to the lawsuit, she discovered a large number of videos of secret sex acts on SD cards that Hartman apparently left behind, including one woman who was paid 10,000 yen for sex. It also included a clip in which they can be heard negotiating for dollar payments.
In January, he sent her a link to a Reddit thread about a woman who discovered her boyfriend had secretly recorded them having sex, and the SS asked her to notify other women whose recordings they discovered. It is said that he was encouraged to do so.
In response, Hartmann claimed that he had falsely accused the SS of encouraging him to commit suicide, and that the SS had decided to sue.
In a lengthy statement, Hartmann denied working for Cardcoin and claimed he was never married to the SS and had never been violent. Regarding her hidden camera claim, she said, “I believe the images in her complaint are from the pet camera she had me install to monitor her cat.” Stated.
“As the value of digital assets continues to rise, investors and executives in this space are increasingly being targeted by unscrupulous actors of all kinds,” he told the Post.
“We weren't married, so there was no divorce settlement. So she seems to think she can fatten herself up this way,” he said.
Cardcoinz said in a statement that Hartman does not work for the company and is not a co-owner, but called the lawsuit “very bizarre, misleading and defamatory.” CardCoins is not being sued by SS
SS is seeking unspecified damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress, assault, rape and other allegations.
“I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through,” she said.
SS lawyer Daniel Zulkiewicz claims that hidden camera footage shows Hartman installing the device shortly before they engage in sex acts, adding: “The camera was showing the cat in a pet-free home with another woman. They claim it was used to watch the recordings being tricked,” he added. Also a harem apartment.
“No one should have to endure the suffering that our client experienced at the hands of Mr. Hartman,” he continued. “We look forward to the court holding Mr. Hartman accountable.”
