This year, we are aiming for something bigger than DevConnect. We want to support the efforts our communities are already starting.
Buenos Aires and Argentina have cities and countries that have led Ethereum adopters for many years. Devconnect Argentina is an opportunity for the entire Ethereum ecosystem to support and accelerate its steady growth by supporting individual citizens, businesses, institutions and governments in the recruitment and profits of Ethereum.

DevConnect is the culmination of this effort, and is a global gathering that is more than distributed event week. In addition to community-organized events held across cities, the EF Events team will create an interactive “Ethereum World Fair” as a blueprint that allows Ethereum to enable cities, economies and countries.

Why DevConnect Argentina is different
Argentina is where Ethereum adoption takes place Now. People use Stablecoins and Blockchain solutions for daily transactions and savings. Buenos Aires is already experimenting with on-chain. The city's government has launched initiatives like digital identity systems Quark IDis built on Ethereum and Zksync and shows openness to cryptographic.
The local ecosystem is also strong, with projects set in Argentina Refreshing, Velo, Bouldertech, St. Land, Defiwonderland, Accurate protocol, Cleros, Lambda Class, lemon, Makerdao (empty), Imitation, Nomic Foundation, Openzeppelin, Poapand Lipio In addition to more. “Ethereum World Fair”
At the heart of Devconnect Argentina is what is called “Ethereum World's Fair.” Over the past few centuries, global trade fairs around the world have introduced cutting edge technology and provided a glimpse into the future. The Ethereum World Fair will be a live showcase of how Ethereum can change identity, finances, governance and everyday life. Stablecoins, Defi, Onchain Identities, Public Goods Funding – Everything happens at Ethereum Fair for people to try, so you can see for yourself how Ethereum-based tools can make traditional, concentrated models more accessible, transparent and move sovereign alternatives.
More holistic cowwalk
The main venue will be the DevConnect Coworking space. This will be a more holistic experience that includes a community hub. These interactive spaces are organized by members of the community and may know them from DevCon. We'll go into detail about the DevConnect community hub and how to organize it in a few weeks.
DevConnect events are still distributed
Of course, DevConnect Argentina is still DevConnect. That is, there are multiple events organized by various teams across the city of Buenos Aires, each of which dives deep into a particular Ethereum topic.
One of our main goals is to promote true use of Ethereum. Organizers are encouraged to consolidate on-chain tickets, payments and identities whenever possible. We are also continuing to look for Dogfood Ethereum Tech opportunities to improve the attendance experience with DevConnect.
