Microsoft On Saturday evening, the service said the service was recovering as tens of thousands of users were unable to access Outlook email accounts and other programs.
“We are investigating issues where users cannot access Outlook features and services,” Microsoft 365 Status describes Microsoft's official 365 service incidents.
Services such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure were reported around 3:30pm. According to DownDetector, over 37,000 people reported outlook suspensions, and around 24,000 people reported outlook suspensions at 365 services from the tech company, while around 150 users reported declining team accounts.
Downdetector reports that outages were the most concentrated in the New York, Chicago and Los Angeles areas.
Users also complained to social media site X that they couldn't access Outlook emails, prompting concerns about the global Microsoft suspension.
Microsoft reported on the service's health update page that the company said “everything is up and running.”
In an update to Microsoft 365 status posted on X, the company said it has “confirmed that the service has been restored.”
The company has not responded to CNBC for requests for comment.
