McDonald's just dropped his tweet, and the crypto world has lost it.
The fast food giant on Thursday posted a tweet that read, “Put your fries in your bag.” And it quickly went viral and elicited a lot of responses from the crypto community, despite not linking directly to the crypto community.

Many members of the community interpreted the tweet as a veiled commentary on the state of the crypto market. This post has led McDonald's to believe that McDonald's is ocking the recent downturn in the crypto market, as he did in January 2022 when Bitcoin fell below $33,000.

Since last weekend, Bitcoin has been under pressure and has been driven by new inflation concerns over President Trump's tariff plans. Even with the confirmed tariff easing on imports from Canada and Mexico, the ongoing trade dispute between the US and China is creating new uncertainty in the market.
Bitcoin prices temporarily fell below $96,000 in early trading on Thursday, rebounding to around $97,000 per coin gecco. Most altcoins struggle to recover from previous losses.
Amidst the overall market slump, X's crypto investors have revived the popular “Crypto Bros Bros” meme that has to work at McDonald's when the market drops. This may explain why McDonald's recent tweets sparked buzz in the crypto community.
In response to McDonald's tweet, Kraken Exchange posted a “Crypto Bro” meme, and OKX tweeted Diamond Fly.

Some crypto investors humorously call McDonald's post “bottom signal.” In the past, McDonald's social media activity coincided with a market slump and subsequent recovery.
