ETH RANGERS offers a scholarship to support individuals to work on public goods security efforts in Ethereum Eco System. Participants will be chosen to receive $ 25,000 for over 6 months.
What kind of work is considered public goods security work?
Public security security work includes efforts to enhance the security and resilience of the Ethereum Eco System. This includes vulnerabilities, creating educational materials, incidents or audits of professional bono, and developing tools and frameworks that benefit the community. The goal is to secure Ethereum infrastructure and support projects and individuals that concentrate on promoting a robust and unreliable environment for everyone.
Can I apply if I am currently employed by public goods security?
Yes, the current employment of public goods security will not be disqualified from the application. We are looking for an individual who can spend a considerable amount of time to move the security of Ethereum's public goods.

- 2024 November 21, 2024: Wave-1 application is open.
- December 31, 2024: Wave-1 application deadline.
- January 20, 2025: The recipient was selected.
- July 20, 2025: The final work report will occur, and the remaining scholarships will continue.
