Cardano returns to Bitcoin's roots
In a major milestone, Cardano integrates the BitcoinOS Grail Bridge to unlock the decentralized programmability and scalability of Bitcoin.
EMURGO, the founding entity of Cardano, has partnered with BOS to enhance liquidity through Grail Bridge, enabling trustless bridging of BTC and other Bitcoin assets. Grail Bridge uses zero-knowledge cryptography to enable Bitcoin users to securely move their assets.
This will make Cardano the first major layer 1 blockchain to be plugged into the BOS infrastructure, opening up the cryptographic ecosystem to the vast capital of Bitcoin.
This is more than just a technical milestone, BitcoinOS said in a tweet, saying this is the return of the crypto world's biggest names to Bitcoin.
