The joggers are big, but Thule does a good job of not being Too much Big – or at least not as big as the competition. The Thule Urban Glide 3, like its predecessor, The Urban Glide 2, has enough slim form to pass through the aisle dividers to discourage my local skateboarders, and folds a little more flatter than the other joggers, making it easier to pass my front door. It has a smooth ride and easily folds with one hand, but at 26 pounds it's too heavy to carry the other arms safely.
The new Thule Urban Glide 3 from the previous model has some changes. One is the handbrake. This is now not circular, but instead designed for an ergonomic hold, making it easier to use. I personally preferred the previous version, but the new version is a little easier for the place where you work by placing your hands and pulling them to control the speed of the downhill. There is also a new expansion canopy to better cover your little things with your run, which will make for a fun bunch of colors similar to the Thule Shine. Finally, there is a new built-in footrest for kids to place their feet rather than hanging. I didn't really notice the footrest improving my son's comfort in this jogger, but it could make a big difference for the bigger kids as he was under 2 years old.
Thule also sells stroller accessories that allow you to use this jogger with toddlers either with Thule bassinet attachments or with a variety of car seat adapters. There is also an attachable cup holder ($25) and a water bottle cage ($30). You can purchase them separately and add them to your Urban Glide 3.
★Alternatives: The Bob Gear Wayfinder ($529) is pretty similar to the Thule, but folds a little bigger, weighs a few pounds, and is suitable for being taller than the city's Glide 3. I found myself a bit uncomfortable in height, but I'm only 5'4″; it's also a bit cheaper than Thule.
